On your website you dont speak much of it being an ordeal to get into South America. I am an Australian citizen, currently in USA, wanting to go travel there soon. Is there an expense and waiting time for getting the visitor visa / anything else needed at all?? This site is awesome by the way! Thankyou! Liz

Depending on diplomatic relations all South American countries issue a 90 day stay visa upon arrival. Do check visa requirements for Australia with consular officials. If a visa is required you'll have to obtain it from the appropriate foreign consular representative before traveling. How long this takes and costs I can't tell.
