Hi triptrop,

We have lots of information about Argentina. You can start there to read about highlights, customs, food, how to get there, etc...

My favorite places in Argentina are:
  • foz do iguazu
  • patagonia
  • peninsula valdes
  • perito moreno
  • san martin de los andes
  • ushuaia
Best wishes,

Mark

Its amazing indeed, without the help of these forums I may have never known about the places where I can travel and the specialties that they have on offer. Argentina for one instance was a place only known by me by their soccer team. As I see now there are many places here which are ideal for any tourists to be visited and am willing to arrange a group vacation there. Am eager to share my trip experiences always and this time also it would not be any different.

What about some Argentina History?
I do a fair bit of traveling & the History of wherever I am is always one of the most important things of my trip.

Sounds like a very romantic place to me!!

Wow I really love this web-site!

And it’s the first one I’ve come across – that has provided well researched information on how to get there. At the moment I’m looking at Ecuador: getting there From Australia and New-Zealand. I’m VERY interested in visiting the Galapagos Islands, and combining it with a fair amount of travelling to other South American countries, so around the world ticket would be a very good option for me to consider. I’ve done a fair amount of research into South America and found that a lot of tours only include land prices, and the ones that include air - are sooo expensive.
Besides the Galapagos, I also would to tour Machu Picchu and the Urubamba River. Are there any tours that raft down its mighty currents?
Mcortez62 – asked about some Argentina History – there are not many websites that seem to combine that with their travel info or itinerary, but there are some companies who offer South America tour and vacation packages with a bit of history within their range of tours.

Happy researching…

San martin de los andes is one of the best! Googled the place and can't wait to see it
