Taking one of tours available in Uyuni is the best way to see the salt flat. Everything is included in the three day trip. I didn't book the tour in advance. I just went to one of the many travel agencies in Uyuni.
You heard right, Uyuni is a very small town but that's ok. You only spend a night there, either before going on a tour on the salt flat or after the tour when it's time for another great adventure.
The
Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is absolutely breathtaking. It's one of the highlights of my journey through South America.
